Frequently asked questions
Who can apply?
Students and educators at primary, elementary, middle, and secondary schools can apply using their school email address. Applications are reviewed to confirm the school and its eligibility.
Which email address should I use?
Use the email address issued by your school or institution. Personal email domains such as Gmail aren't eligible for the application. If your Down Dog account uses a different email, add it in the optional account field. That field can use a personal email address.
What if my school doesn't have a website, or I don't have a school email address?
We can only approve applications that include your institution's website and an email address issued by the institution. That's how we confirm the institution is real and that you study or teach there, so applications without them, or from personal email domains such as Gmail, can't be approved.
What if I already have a Down Dog account?
Include your existing account email so we can find it. We'll email the next steps. Existing access and any previous education trial affect what you're eligible for; applying does not automatically start a new trial.
Can I apply if my institution is already approved?
Yes. Use your institutional email address and we'll send the instructions for your account. You don't need to arrange a new partnership for an institution that's already eligible.
Do I need any yoga or fitness experience?
No. Choose beginner-friendly practices and adjust the length and level to suit you. Clear video and spoken instruction guide each practice.
